Project Executive Shawn Coughlin has been inducted as a member of The Moles.

Shawn Coughlin

The Moles is a national organization of individuals now or formerly engaged in the construction of tunnel, subway, sewer, foundation, marine, sub-aqueous, or other heavy construction projects. Founded in 1936 by a group that worked together between 1914 and 1919 on projects under Newark Bay and the waterfront of Port Newark, the organization is considered the most prestigious heavy construction organization in North America.

Vice President at Keller and past President of the Moles, Paul Schmall, states that becoming a member is no small feat. “Candidates must have a reputation that precedes them, go through a rigorous review process, be nominated by a current member, evaluated by a membership committee, and then voted in. Shawn Coughlin is the ideal candidate - a long history of very challenging underground work and the greatest respect of everyone he works with.”
