Design Engineer Mary Shahrokh receives a DFI WiDF Professional Development Grant.

Mary is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a PhD in structural engineering from the University of Texas (UT) at Arlington and a master’s degree in infrastructure engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden). With more than seven years of experience, she specializes in geo-structural engineering, with a focus on earth-retention system design.
Since joining Keller in June 2023, Mary has been a member of the high-performing Earth Retention design team. Her professional contributions include authoring three published papers and mentoring and training young engineers at UT Arlington.
About the DFI WiDF Professional Development Grants
The Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) Educational Trust and the DFI Women in Deep Foundations (WiDF) Committee provide professional development grant opportunities to women involved in design and construction of deep foundations. The grants provide free annual conference registrations and are used to cover lodging, meals, and travel for the recipients to attend the annual DFI conference and WiDF reception.
